11月16日、京都で行われた「GNSS国際シンポジウム2015」にて、「地理空間情報を高度に活用できる社会（G空間社会）の実現に向けて」と題して講演しました。このシンポジウムは、GPS・GNSS研究の最先端の研究者や専門家が国内外より集まり、最新の研究成果を発表し、知識の国際的な交換を意図したものです。
私は自民党のG空間情報活用推進委員長として、近年の取り組みや政策についてお話させていただきました。シンポジウムは、参加者の半分が海外からの研究者で、私から日本政府の取り組みや最新の実証事業を説明しつつ、2020年TOKYOオリンピックで世界の人々にG空間プロジェクトをお披露目できるよう、強力に事業推進中であることをお話ししました。

International Symposium on GNSS 2015
~Towards the Realization of Geo-spatial Society~ presentation by Yoshitaka Shindo (16 November, 2015)
I gave a lecture titled “Towards the Realization of “Geo-spatial Society” where Geospatial Information is Highly Utilized” at International Symposium on GNSS 2015 held in Kyoto on 16 November. This symposium is intended to bring together world-leading industry professionals, practitioners, academics and researchers to disseminate their latest research results and allow cross-disciplinary exchange of knowledge to further advance in this area.
I talked about the recent effort and policy as a chairman of Special Committee for Promotion of Geospatial Information Utilization by the Liberal Democratic Party. Half of participants in this symposium were researchers from abroad. I also explained to them about efforts by the Japanese government and the latest demonstration business being pushed strong in order to introduce Geo-spatial project to people around the world at 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
